Krešimir Čanić is an experienced expert in science popularization with over two decades of experience in managing and coordinating scientific projects and events. He currently works as a project administrator and coordinator at the Institute for the Popularization of Science, where he is responsible for communication between the scientific community and civil society organizations. His work includes project coordination, workshop design, and connecting various sectors within the STEM field.

Krešimir has previously worked as an advisor to numerous civil society organizations in the STEM area and as a project associate at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb. His career also includes advising on EU funds, leading the project team for STEAM Week, and working on various science popularization projects, such as the "STEAM SHOW" and "STEAM Tram."

In addition, Krešimir is actively involved in education and mentoring of young people, leading workshops, and organizing numerous science festivals and events. His organizational skills and ability to effectively lead teams have resulted in the successful implementation of many international and domestic projects.

Krešimir is a member of the board of the Beijing Global Network of Science Festivals and is actively involved in several other international initiatives. Through his dedication and innovative approach, he continues to contribute to enhancing scientific literacy and connecting science with society.
