哈尔滨工业大学博士，清华大学博士后，二级教授、博士生导师。现任中国科协创新战略研究院教授、北京科技大学兼职教授、中国科技新闻学会副理事长、北京科技教育促进会理事长。曾任原佳木斯工学院院长、黑龙江省科协副主席、中国科普研究所所长、中国科协调研宣传部部长、办公厅主任、创新战略研究院院长等职，兼任中国科普作家协会副理事长、北京市科协副主席、《科普研究》《Cultures of Science》主编、中国科协-清华大学科技传播与普及研究中心秘书长等职。主要从事科普与创新文化、科学文化及科技政策等方面的研究工作。发表论文140余篇，出版专著、高校教材和研究报告等20余部；主持国家级课题20余项；获多项省部级科技奖励和国家专利;培养硕士、博士、博士后50余人。

REN Fujun, Ph.D. of Harbin Institute of Technology, postdoctoral fellow of Tsinghua University, second-class professor, and doctoral tutor, currently holds the posts of professor of National Academy of Innovation Strategy of CAST and adjunct professor of University of Science and Technology Beijing, vice president of Science and Technology of China Press and president of Beijing Science and Technology Education Promotion Association. He once served as dean of the former name was Jiamusi Engineering College, vice chairman of Heilongjiang Association for Science and Technology, director of China Research Institute for Science Popularization, head of the Survey＆Publicity Department under China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), director of the General Office of CAST, and president of National Academy of Innovation Strategy, with concurrent posts as vice chairman of the Chinese Science Writers Association, vice chairman of Beijing Association for Science and Technology, editor-in-chief of Studies on Science Popularization, Cultures of Science, general secretary of the Center for Science Communication and Popularization of CAST and Tsinghua University. His research mainly focuses on popular science and innovation culture, science culture, science＆technology polices and other aspects. He has published more than 140 papers, and over 20 monographs, university textbooks and research reports, presided over more than 20 national research projects, won a number of provincial and ministerial science＆technology awards, obtained a number of national patents, and trained more than 50 students with master, doctoral, and postdoctoral degrees.
